The Bishop Auckland RUFC Sports Relief Fun Run is officially kicked off, on Sunday, loads of sponsor forms were issued to people showing a interest in joining in the event.

£1000 Target.


All of the money raised will be donated to this charity.

The event is to be held on Sunday the 14th of March 2010 after the training sessions or matches that are planned. We set of around the mile long course at 12 noon, twice around the perimeter of the field at West Mills playing fields.

The best way to get as much cash as possible is to be sponsored for the run. We would like all rugby players to get involved and get as many sponsors as possible. If you would like to help us raise this money please see Jeff Alderson or me down the clubhouse on Wednesday's, Saturday's and Sunday's for a sponsor form. Or email jeffalderson@bishopauckland.co.uk or lfoulger@bishopauckland.co.uk ad we can send you an electronic copy of the form or you to print out.

If your like me and can't be bothered to run a mile please see us down the club on the day, donate a pound and have a leisurely stroll before you have your Sunday dinner. You might as well while your waiting for the kids!!
