Dear Sir,


Please take sometime to read this short letter and give full consideration to supporting a local club dedicated to providing a first class multi sports facility for the Local Community.


My name is Peter Gallone, I am one of the Junior Coach's for Bishop Auckland Rugby Club, based at West Mills in the town.


The purpose of this letter is to ask if your company would be prepared to help raise funds to extend our changing facilities so that we can continue to grow our Mini and Junior Rugby Section. With your help any money we can raise could potentially be matched or doubled by either Sport England or the Rugby Football Foundation.


If we could raise £50,000, this could be matched up to meet the required £250,000, support from local businesses is crucial to our continued success.


Over the past two seasons we have increased our mini and junior section ages of 5yrs up to 18yrs from around 15 youngsters to almost 120 players. This combined with the enthusiasm and commitment from both parents and coaches has helped to form a distinctive family orientated club evolving beyond our expectations.


This transformation has been supported and praised by the Rugby Football Union, who has been actively involved in moving our club forward. Further to this we are current holders of the Wear Valley Sports Club of The Year and have also recently been awarded the RFU Seal of Approval, which is only awarded to clubs who can demonstrate they have the correct processes and procedures in place to ensure the well being and safe guarding of children.


Please give serious consideration to our request and support our endeavours to create a safe, family focused facility, which has children's' health and welfare at heart.
