Put Another Brick in the Wall

As one of the many ways of raising funds for our Club's extension, Peter Gallone had the idea of selling bricks for £10 each. The scheme would mean that all members, volunteers and supporters could make a small but significant contribution towards funding the expansion of our growing Club.

As Leigh Foulger said "Bishop Auckland Rugby Club has since 1976, grown beyond all expectations. Today it boasts three senior teams and eleven junior sides who compete in the county at all age groups." ref

Your contribution will be displayed in the Club whilst funds are accumulating. When the extension is finally completed a permanent display will be created.

In order to purchase a 'brick' please contact me, Sally Evans on 07718541145. I will need your name, contact details i.e. email or mobile number, the name you want displayed on each brick (maybe your children), and finally your donation for each brick purchased.

The first two bricks were bought by our Chairman, Keith Wilkinson for himself and his wife. Others have followed suit and I have had promises of raising up to £130 so far.

For more information on the extension and to view our ever growing 'virtual wall' please visit our web site and see regular articles in the newsletter.

Thank you
